When I was in Barcelona 2 years ago, getting things done for my exhibition in Delallum gallery, I kept running around El Born area and the Barri Gotic, searching for various materials and scraps for the frames of my art graphics.
The most exciting thing in Barca for me, next to the architecture itself, was the graffiti artworks. I came across some wonderful stuff, but the most impressive work I found there was by Miss Van.
Miss Van is a french graffiti and canvas painter from Toulouse, she's considered one of the best known artist in the graffiti scene and definitely my personal favourite.
The first picture above I still keep on my phone as a wallpaper.Its funny to come across the same images on someone elses flickr. ;))
Apparently Miss Van lives in Barcelona now, which makes me wanna go there again some time soon;). I still dream about La Bouqeria market on La Rambla where I bought shitloads of wonderful and crazy foods.. Oooh Barca Barca.....
